    Andreas Iniesta early career

    Andreas Iniesta comes from a small village called Fuentealbilla in the province of Albacete, Castile-La Mancha.
    At age 12, while playing for Albacete Balompie in the tournament seven-a-side junior in Albacete, he attracted the attention of scouts from various clubs throughout Spain.

    His parents knew FC Barcelona youth team coach, Enrique Orizaola, and he persuaded them to consider sending Iniesta to the Barcelona youth academy. Iniesta there with his parents and visiting La Masia, Spain farmhouse where also the home of the club's youth academy.

    Travelling to convince them to sign up Iniesta in the Barcelona youth ranks. Iniesta says he "cried a river" on the day he went to La Masia and struggled because of separation from parents, early arrival he was very shy and aloof. Iniesta Barcelona captained the U-15 team to victory in the Nike Premier Cup in 1999, and scored the winning goal in the last minute, and become the star player of the tournament.

    International career 
    Iniesta burst onto the international scene in 2001, helping Spain win the UEFA European Under-16 Championship, and is in the squad for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship the following year.

    Iniesta became a regular choice by young coach Juan Santisteban.
    In 2003 Iniesta formed part of the Spanish team that reached the final of the FIFA World Youth Championship in the United Arab Emirates, and entered in the FIFA all-star team.

    During join the Spanish Under-21, Iniesta became captain on several occasions. Originally a fringe player, Iniesta called to represent Spain at the 2006 FIFA World Cup on May 15, 2006, and was very surprised many people.

    Iniesta got his first caps for Spain when he entered in the first round in a friendly match against Russia on May 27, 2006. Iniesta called up for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and Iniesta scored the second goal in a 2-1 victory against Chile.



    Iniesta was also chosen as man of the match. For his performance was excellent in helping Spain reach the final of the tournament, Iniesta was selected for the Golden Ball award.

    The format of the UEFA Euro 2012, Iniesta was awarded as the man of the match for his performance in three different games. Iniesta was also voted man of the match in the final against Italy, Spain won 4-0.
    By winning the award, Iniesta became the only Spanish player to win the award at least once in every three tournaments in a row from the Spanish national team's success. And Iniesta was also chosen as the UEFA Euro 2012 Player of the Tournament.
